Module summary

If you have A-level or equivalent in Arabic and wish to enhance further your language skills, then ARAB2020 is the right module for you. This module will equip you with the skills to comprehend and analyse texts critically. It will also help you sharpen your writing skills through weekly writing practice. Also, the module will give you an opportunity to strengthen your oral and aural skills. By the end of this module your four language skills will have improved immensely. Objectives

To provide training in oral, aural and written Arabic in order to improve reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills.

Syllabus

Oral Practice: Discussion and debate on topics relating to personal experience. Written Practice: The writing of social letters and short descriptive or personal essays.
